NUNEATON STEAM CLUB is for steam enthusiasts and those interested in industrial "whimsy". We will be holding talks throughout the year and excursions locally to places of interest. We visited Teddy Boston's model railway in 2014 which is alive and well at a house in Nuneaton. Scroll down to see photographs of it. Who better to introduce this section of the web site but the well known local vicar - vicar of Cadeby - Teddy Boston - who was an absolute joy to know and an inspiration to us all. Best of all he was the finest embodiment of the true English character and a gentleman.  After Teddy passed away his little railway around the rectory was moved to other railway preservation sites, and the last rolling stock was transferred to the Moseley Railway Trust site at Apedale on 22nd July 2006. Teddy Boston's beloved model railway has been saved and safely installed in a purpose built railway shed in the garden of a house in Nuneaton. A private viewing was arranged recently and anyone who wishes to see the layout running again on operating days are welcome to do so by contacting: nuneatonian@gmail.com and it will be possible to the famous 3 hour - 24 hour operating system once again recreated as it once was at Cadeby. This is a remarkable tribute to Teddy and a wonderful legacy to his many fans.

Teddy's Travels
